Speed cameras that slow down internal roads and identify every speeder.
A solar-powered radar sign shows every driver their own speed, while a camera on the same pole captures the number plate of any vehicle over the limit. Each event is logged to GAM with the speed, time, and image, so management can follow up with the right vehicle and household.
For residential estates, gated communities, campuses, business parks, industrial sites, and private roads.
A speed limit only works when drivers know they are seen.
Static limit signs stop being noticed
Drivers see the same sign every day and stop reading it. A sign that shows their own speed gets noticed every time they pass.
Complaints come without evidence
Residents report speeding, but nobody knows which vehicle it was. Plate capture turns a complaint into a record with a time, speed, and image.
Internal roads have no power or cabling
Trenching a road for mains and data is costly and disruptive. The sign and camera each run from their own solar panel and battery.
Detect
Radar in the sign measures each vehicle as it approaches, well before it reaches the pole.
Display
The driver sees their speed in large LED digits: green within the limit, flashing red above it.
Capture
For any vehicle over the limit, the pole camera captures the number plate and an image of the vehicle.
Report
The event is logged to GAM against the vehicle and household, alongside traffic counts and trends.
Everything on one pole. Everything on one dashboard.
Radar speed detection
Every approaching vehicle is measured, with the trigger threshold set to your internal limit.
Plate-linked speed camera
Over-speed vehicles are identified by number plate and matched to registered vehicles in GAM.
Fully solar powered
The sign and camera carry their own panels and batteries. No mains, no trench, no load on the gate supply.
Speed and traffic reports
Repeat offenders by plate, peak times, traffic counts, and 85th-percentile speeds for management meetings.
Your limit, your message
Set the speed limit and the over-limit behaviour to suit each road on the property.
Relocatable
Units are pole-mounted and can be moved as problem roads change after the first months of data.
Common questions about speed cameras.
Does the camera record every vehicle, or only speeders?
Every vehicle is counted for traffic statistics. The plate and image are captured for vehicles over the limit.
Does it need mains power or cabling?
No. The sign and the camera each run from a solar panel and battery, so they can be installed on any internal road.
What happens to a captured plate?
It is matched in GAM to the registered vehicle and household. Unregistered vehicles are still logged with their image for follow-up.
Can we set our own speed limit?
Yes. The limit is configurable per unit. The demonstration on this page uses 30 km/h.
Does it work at night?
Yes. The LED digits are bright and legible in the dark, and plate capture continues at night.
Can it work without the gate system?
Yes. Speed Management can run on its own. With GAM, over-speed events join the same vehicle record used at the gate.
