Two visitors per bed: a hospital gate with GuestPass
1:34
At a hospital, the gate texts the patient for each visitor, holds the third visitor for a bed at the limit unless the guard admits them with a reason, and counts every visitor out when visiting ends.

Amina is the nursing officer in charge of the wards at Lakeview Hospital. Visiting hour runs from noon to half past one, and it used to fill the wards past the point of care.
At the gate, the guard picks the ward and bed: Ward 3, Bed 12. The visitor’s name, phone and ID go in, and GuestPass texts the patient.
James reads that his sister Mercy is at the gate, and she walks up to see him.
When their mother Rose arrives, Bed 12 already has two visitors, and the gate phone stops. It names who is with James, and since when. The ward sister agrees that a mother should see her son, so the guard admits Rose and types why.
From the nurses’ station, every bed is a card. The limit lives in Settings. Lakeview chose two visitors per bed, and every gate phone follows it.
When visiting ends, the guard checks each visitor out at the gate, and the count falls to zero.
Later, Amina asks GuestPass in plain words which beds drew the most visitors this week, and gets the answer with the numbers behind it.
